We came for Halloween and we confirm the first great impression we had. The food was amazing and the drinks superbe. I've really appreciate the staff care, I'm pregnant and I did 100 questions about food and drinks and everybody's been super kind and helpful. My husband was absolutely satisfied about the drinks and as always the bill was surprisingly cheap respect the quantity of food and alcohol he got 😂
In relation to the covid situation, the pub is super safe, facemasks and social distancing are in place and hand sanitizer is available.
We booked to spend our Xmas day there ❤️
Can't wait

Bar staff were nice but the manager was extremely miserable, just sat drinking.
Only half the menu was available and the food took well over an hour to arrive - steak overcooked and the pie had next to nothing inside.

Had a reasonably priced Sunday lunch today with friends. Roast beef and all the trimmings. Slight issue on arrival with a pint of beer, but this was dealt with quickly. Friendly staff and manager.

Ordered 2 mixed grills and the chicken was uncooked it was completely raw absolutely disgusting I would give no stars if I could, the manager took no responsibility for this and continued to say the chef cooked it to the temperature it should be fact is someone should have lost their job! Secondly my daughters meal turned up and was completely wrong not what I ordered at the bar … I will never be returning here.

The food was mostly very nice ,although the pastry on the pie was rather hard. We went on a Wednesday lunch time and the service was a bit slow ,our meals took 30 minutes to arrive. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Avoid this place at all cost, went for a meal last Friday with the family.
I was grossly over charged, I for my bill was told can only print it after I paid, reading the local neighbourhood forums, these is a common practice.
Half of the items on the menu were not available, no wonder there were many empty tables with a reserved sign
The staff were not very helpful.

-1 * is it was possible
We visited yesterday (NYE) As I've been to many pubs and places like this and this was by far the worst
The manger (I think she was) was extremely rude didn't smile once made us feel very unwelcome

It was so down and not much going on for NYE like a pub like this should at least have some live music.

And it's only for a 4 FHR (Food Hygiene Rating) a big brand like this should have 5 FHR imo

Half the beers where off
No mens toilet and no accessible toilets were available
As they was out of order

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU AVOID at all costs.
