The pub manager himself is very experienced and has fantastic customer service. His staff are brilliant, they all work really well together. They will accommodate for all types of events which they have done for me on several occasions. No matter wether you are just passing through for a quick drink or stopping in for a session you will be made to feel very welcome.

Terribly rude pub, really antisocial and poor attitudes from the bar staff… it was empty apart from a few locals in the corner. I had my hands full with bags and camera equipment and nipped to the bathroom before ordering. The bartender singled me out with rude and embarrassing comments and then when he realised I was actually a patron, decided not to serve me, probably out of shame. It really made me feel unwelcome into the area I had just moved to, this could have been my local but now I wouldn’t step foot in here if my life depended on it.

Used to be an Irish pub and has retained its friendly and unpretentious vibe. Spacious garden is great for sunny days.

Probably the best pub I've been in for years very clean reasonably priced great mix of nationalities and age group something for everybody what a brilliant atmosphere it is in there will definitely be going back

Working away for the week and I was in need of a "local" pub. The Horse and Groom does not disappoint. Darts on TV, and a good selection of reasonably priced beers. A bit quiet when I went, but it's a proper pub!

I had a great night. Pub was open till 2 am. Staff friendly and nice area out side to sit with heaters

Great bar, and ridiculously cheap, staff are polite, and the manager is brilliant.

I would recommend it. Decent music, drinks, and banter.
