The Garden Shed

We celebrated a summer birthday in the garden outside area of the pub. The place was relatively empty, but great turnout in light of Covid.

Orders ranged from the various burgers - lamb, beef and a vegetarian option; along with servings of wings and fries. The sweet potato fries were nice but lacked salt. Wings were tasty. Burgers were nice.

Considering the size of the group, a wait for the food was expected, but not the one we had. The food took forever, with meals staggered to the point that some people finished their meals while others still didn’t get any food.

My daughter had just had a baby, 2 weeks old, so we thought we would quickly pop for food and drinks to get her out of the house. At 7.40 we were told we had to leave as the baby wasn't allowed after 7pm, bearing in mind the baby was asleep in her pram. Fair enough we thought. We said we're just about to order food. He said you've got to leave. He was very rude, very rude. There were dogs in the pub barking but theywereallowedto stay! I can understand if it was kids running around but a newborn asleep, really. As we were leaving, someone came in with a baby in a pram, we told them what were told. The manager came over to us and told us to stop talking to the people and leave. We told him he was so rude that we don't even want to come back EVER. I guess the place is empty for a reason THE MANAGER has no people skills!

1st time visiting this pub. Good selection of drinks and the food was excellent. The staff where very polite and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

There's plenty of space outdoors, almost no non-alcoholic drinks so I can't give it higher. Overall a pleasant experience.

Had a drink there with a friend. Staff was friendly and eager to help their customers out. The pub has interior and exterior areas for their customers to sit in. We sat outside and it was okay!

I had a great experience with the garden shed pub. Called them to arrange a small party in their conservatory at the last minute. Karl and Elliot were super helpful and accommodating, they really looked after us and the customer service is second to none. thanks again!

Great vibes, good beer, slightly average food (at least for what we tried) but huge portions

Nice venue, parking not to good . But the atmosphere, food and staff make up. Would definitely recommend a visit .
