The place has a cozy warm atmosphere. Everyone’s welcome. Parking and smoking area.
The food here is great really good selection and amazing quality.
The staff are friendly and outgoing got to watch my racing what more can you ask for l.

Sunday lunch for 6 was amazing. Lots of food to choose from. Adults had the Roast Kids had Burgers everything taste and even looked lovely. Portion sizes were spot on the Kids did have desserts but were just being greedy because the food was so good. The Staff were all welcoming, friendly and approachable. Will definately be going back

Excellent food. Katsu chicken was amazing and had lots of chicken 👍🏻

Been to The Chequers on many occasions without fault, today was different. Served draft cider asked for half a pint, served a pint which was warm, flat, tasted like sugared water and had sediment, starter really nice, main course (hunters chicken) overcooked and tough, husbands scampi undercooked as was chocolate brownie. I know prices are reasonable but not impressed! Change of chef? Will not be back!

went to the chequers today @ lunch for a business meeting with potential new customer. had a fantastic experience, bar staff could see we were having a meeting and regularly inquired with us as to whether or not we required drinks or food, we had both food and drink none of which we could fault. would recommend a visit to anybody.

Only had a lunch there while working in the area. Food/Sandwiches were ok, pretty good. Had not massive expectations as kitchen only opened when we arrived. Girl behind the counter was very polite and attentive. Need to come back again for a drink and food

Service was great at this pub. Absolutely spot on. Drinks were great, good range and well served/presented.

Slight downside for me was the food. Nothing against this pub, it’s the menu that have to serve by greeneking, but it’s just very typical chain pub grub. Frozen, microwave, plate and out to the table. Edible but could be better.

I've visited The Chequers a few times with friends and family and we get excellent customer service each and every time which keeps us coming back! Great selection of food and drinks which are always top notch; the staff are all lovely, welcoming and friendly and the pub is nicely decorated and kept clean. I look forward to my next visit!
