We had roast beef. Very tasty but not enough vegetables (half a carrot)or gravey. The menu said "glazed parsnips " I couldn't find mine!!!
The dessert menu said "warm" brownie. It came cold. Outside garden is kept warm by lots of heaters which is very nice and relaxing.

Large, airy old boozer. It's a Young's pub so if you know the Young's formula and like it you'll like the Manor Arms. Has a smallish beer garden. Friendly staff and quick service.

Decent pub with pleasant garden space. Good range of beers. Very friendly staff. I believe it’s dog friendly too

The Mason Arms is one of those rare finds that you makes you feel like a well kept secret. The location is perfect for getting about. They let you bring your dogs with you, supplying beds, blankets, bowls, toys and most importantly poo bags. I know. Pinch yourself as the goodness just keeps going. The rooms and just what you want away from home. The food is always a high standard. We always eat here with our friends. Finally and by no means last…..the staff and absolutely wonderful. They are always friendly, smile on their faces even when the temperature as 39.1. They are quick to serve, funny, welcoming and go above and beyond. We honestly can’t wait until we’re back. Thank you so much for looking after us. Elaine, David, Jethro (The Newf) and Luna (The Springer)

My partner and I came across this place, we have never been so we thought to check it out. We had such a great time, they have a selection of beers and spirits. The beer is good, the staff are friendly. We haven't tried the food yet, but we will sure be back to have the food!

Asked for cheapest bottle of white wine. £27😳 Bottle had already been opened and not full. Told bartender and he gave me a different one, which was already opened too. Not chilled, very poor. Not going back there again. £27 is way too much for a house wine in a bog standard pub!!!!

Edited after rating. At risk of being petty the missing star is related to pub quiz that wasn't on Thursday (as it apparently usually is?).

Besides that the service was great as was the ambiance. Also, had the first Sctoch Egg of my life, and damn it was good. I'd highly recommend The Manor Arms to friends.

Lovely pub and staff were great. However we booked a table for 8 on Sunday and by 2 pm the only starter option was Scotch Eggs, the main course was dismal; £25.00 for the combination roast - 1/2 supreme of chicken, 1 slice of pork belly which was pure fat and one wafer thin slice of beef that despite asking for rare resembled shoe leather. Vegetables and potatoes almost non-existent. To make matters worse, we waited over 1 1/2 hours; good job the 2 hour rule wasn’t enforced! Not sure how the price can be justified for what was, in my opinion, below mediocre. Great place for drinks but I would not be persuaded to return for food. Such a shame as I live less than a 5 minute walk away.
