Very nice, I believe the chef that cooked our delicious meals was called Gary. Sue provided great service too. Had the starters you see in the pics and a couple of mains of sea bass and pizza.

Last minute find. after having trouble finding a good restaurant in the area that was still open ( was only 7pm). Staff were welcoming and very helpful and we were pleased to discover they are super dog friendly (water and treats station waiting for your furry companion)
We went for shared starters, main course and puds, all of which came in good time and were very tasty, good selection of beverages too. Best bit of the meal were the puds, as shown in the photos, as pleased to be informed that they were all chef made! (Not often this happens any more)
Wonderful historic building with plenty of the old working character left.
Thanks to the team👍😁👏

After visiting the beautiful Titchfield Abbey we were ready for lunch. This was just a one minute drive down the road. Plenty of parking for customers (even some spots under the trees in the shade).
First things first: Food was pretty average and I'd give three stars. But location and atmosphere are great and relaxing. That deserves an extra star.

It's really an old mill right at a small river. The pub is beautiful inside as well and has a charming outside area to have lunch and dinner.
Since it was a hot and sunny day we took a table outside. Our Bulldog was welcome as well.
Ordered fried shrimp, shrimp & scallops and Fish'n'Chips. Since I was driving I had a coke instead of a beer.

Fried shrimps were ok. Can't (almost) go wrong with fried food. The cooked shrimp and scallops were quite very good, nice herbal sauce. Fish'n'Chips were fine. Hot and crispy.

Staff was friendly. Ordering by app was easy and prices fair. Food was all fine. But just nothing really different or special. Apart from the scallops/shrimp maybe. But still: An enjoyable lunch in a great setting.

Went midweek and had a great time, service was very good and delivered promptly. It has a nice layout with areas having a homely feel. Food was very good and certainly a place we plan to revisit in the future.

Food was good. Waiting staff were a little bit overwhelming with the irritating habit of interrupting our conversation to ask if we were "doing OK guys".

Discrete waiting is good... less is more.

Overall a good experience. Thanks Jess.

What a wonderful place for a special meal. Warm and inviting, well spaced tables and a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Our server Jess and her trainee were awesome, perfect service and the food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Great service and the food was very good. Unfortunately, when we got there around 8.15pm for our dinner the pork belly was sold out. If you want the full menu I recommend and earlier booking on a weekend! I would definitely go back again.
