Nipped into the Mall Tavern on Sunday afternoon to finish the weekend off in style with a few cold drinks!!

This has always been a big favourite of ours, they do some of the best chicken wings in London, a cracker of a Sunday Roast and there is always, ALWAYS great beer to be had both on tap and in the fridges!! 👏🏻👍🏻

Also, it might have been the location of our very first date!! 🥰🤩

The place was busy with people tucking into food and making the most of the last of the weekend… the food was superb as always (there was also a great Cheeseburger we devoured before getting a picture of - I know, I know!! 😉😭)

Expect to see us posting a lot more content from here as the summer days approach!!

Our fave things: Hard to find anything you won’t like about this place - get down there and give it a whirl!!

Super good Sunday roast! We had the vegetarian nut roast. Great service too. Our server, Karolina, was accommodating with our requests. Enjoyed their Sunday roast with cauliflower cheese and had some toffee pudding after. Delicious! We arrived at 12.30, not so loud yet, great ambience for talking and having a good meal.

An excellent selection of ever changing craft and local beers as well as the usual favourites, with some modernised pub classics on the food menu and friendly staff to serve it. In fact, here I had a pint of one of the best pale ales, it wasn’t cheap but damn it was worth it! (I hope they still have it).

Also a nice atmosphere inside and a pleasant outdoor seating off the hectic main roads. Look forward to returning.

We stopped into here to have the classic British fish & chips and it did not disappoint. This pub was so cozy and warm; and the staff was wonderful. They had many options for beer with great recommendations. The fish & chips was by far the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

I walked in for a Sunday roast and they allowed me to sit at the bar because fully booked. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is a main priority. Bloody Mary was great with the horseradish. Food looks good... really pub menu, some classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

🚇 Notting Hill Gate
🍺 £7.00 Paulaner
❤️ The best beer lineup in Notting Hill.
.
The Mall Tavern is located in a side street just off Notting Hill Gate. Notting Hill Gate tube is a two minute stroll away.
.
This pub is one of the most imposing pub buildings I’ve come across on my travels. This is due to the tight corner it sits on and the almost sinister grey and dark green paint used to dress this boozer. Around the ground floor are beautiful glazed green Victorian tiles.
.
Inside the decor is light and airy and the bar is bathed in light from the tall windows. Around the perimeter of the bar are comfy banquettes and heavy circular round tables, the walls have some huge mirrors including an original Charrington’s branded one. The servery is a good size and it was nice to see the coat hooks and stools for a change.
.
The Tap List here is mightily impressive with 20 beers from London and abroad to choose from. There are cask options plus a multitude of bottles too. One of my favourite beers in Paulaner which made choosing a beer very easy. My pint was great but at the top of the pay scale. The food here is hugely popular and reasonably priced, Fish & Chips is unbelievably cheap at £10.
.
I visited on a Saturday lunchtime and the pub was calm for a while, a large family group arrived and the atmosphere went up a notch. The service here was on point, the fella who served me was polite and personable with other punters and their requests.
.
The @malltavern is definitely one for the beer lovers, the diverse choice was first class. The food is well celebrated and reasonably priced. This is an enjoyable pub to spend time in whatever the occasion.

Easily one of my fave boozers in London..

Friendly staff, all the craft beer you could want and some of the best wings I’ve found in London..
Rest of the menu is really interesting too..

Watched most of the Euros here, good outside space and a really cool private dining area.

A real gem in Notting Hill!

Loved this place! The brisket croquettes (didn’t get a chance to get a proper before picture) was excellent as was the fish and chips. Great selection of lagers. Staff were super friendly
