The New Inn Bournheath

The New Inn is a wonderful country pub with great well kept beer and splendid food. A wonderful warm welcome awaits from all the staff, clearly trained to remember all the old fashioned family standards.

At the front of the property there is a ‘beer garden’ area, very popular in the warm weather of late and part of the car park front and back. Disabled access is good with a little extra care and behind the bar area there is a large seating area in the restaurant.

The online menu is quite varied and concentrates mainly on traditional pub meals, however that is not a criticism. The portions are good, and represent great value for money. Very few people could eat here, and honestly leave hungry. The sweets menu shows the same imagination with twists on the old favourites (mine the deep fried ice cream, & rum and raisin!) The service is wonderful with helpful friendly advice and reassuring attention to detail especially with our food allergies.

In short a family run friendly and great value country pub, super well kept beer and wonderful food served with imagination and backed by a good clear understanding of food allergens.

Went there last sunday for lunch with my partner and the two chihauhaus. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The carvery was very nice and tasty. They even brought two little bowls over with a bit of turkey in for the two dogs. Which was so 😍 lovely. I dont think i have ever felt so welcome in a pub. Locals were also friendly. I would defo go there again. Thank you. :-) Fantastic x

Fantastic Sunday carvery today . Beautiful fresh veg and succulent meal . Like eating at home but with the bonus of no cooking or washing up. We booked the table late last week and we were accommodated by really caring staff who jiggled some tables around so we could take my elderly parents and visiting family for lunch . This is the first time I have been back to the New inn in a few years and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning very soon and can highly recommend.Thank you

First time at the New Inn, we went to a 60th birthday party, what a lovely pub. Really good food served at the party, the bar staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

Very pleasant surroundings with attentive staff. Good choice of ales and food. Very good quality food and tasty. Will definitely be returning.

It was too cramped. I found the food to be average. The staff were great though. I had heard many good reports about this place from friends so hopefully it was just me having a bland tasting day.

Nice carvery but we must have been slow eaters because the waitress told us the table needed to be vacated because other people were waiting. This spoilt the experience slightly.
