New Rose & Crown

We've been treated with suspicion on the couple of occasions we went there. Not welcoming. Some nice regulars, but some hostility towards strangers. We wanted to like it as it is close by but we drive out instead. Pity.

Busy doing renovations, will look amazing when done. Not a very welcoming atmosphere (we are out of town’ers) nice pub for the locals, don’t expect service with a smile if you’re not a regular/local.

This is a superb local pub so friendly nice people that goes in there what can i say about Benjie he a darling dog and Vics a superb nice gentle giant always welcomeing years ago we all know it was a rough pub but times have changed so dont be put off

If you want a posh pub with fancy prices and cocktails - this isn’t it.

If you want a pub that always feels welcome, has the longest happy-hour on record, and a nice selection of draft beer (and the best Guinness for miles) then look no further.
