Nice little pub where you can watch football and chill with your mates. Very friendly staff and drinks are reasonable.

Visited this pub for sme cocktails last night and was disappointed.
The staff members attitude was shocking really.
She refused to make my cocktails and the way in which she expressed this was so rude.
I did speak to another member of staff to fetch me.the manager but then found out she ... the rude one..... was the manager....
We was really looking forward to this visit however we found this staff member lacking in all areas. Her lack of social skills was so shocking that i wouldnt have recommended this pub if it was for the professionalism of
The other barmaid i think her name was lauren trying to rectify the situation.
I never like to give 1 star but on this occasion i feel it was necessary.

The exact problem was the attitude of your manager and the lack of willingness to make 4 cocktails.
Im sure she will recall the incident if you ask her. Believe her name was danielle

Lovely Pub. Staff make you feel welcome. Toilets lovely and Clean. Didn't have any food ourselves, but saw others ordering and the food looked lovely.. Been to this pub again today, just for a drink and again received a warm welcome.

The service is good and friendly. The chips may be little bit soft and the fish (the 'coating') slightly salty to me; the fish is fresh and tasty. And it may be that I visited the pub late for the order of lunch. Worth to try it anyway.

Danielle is so welcoming. Makes every cocktail & plays any music you ask for.
Lauren is rushed off her feet & still finds time to serve me.
Nat is best landlady in Hx.

More spit-n-sawdust than expected.
Large screen TV for the football (Madrid losing at home to Barca 0-3).
Missus asked for a half Guinness, but got a pint so not the most attentive bar staff, but polite and friendly.
Definitely a locals pub, which is fine by me.
The furniture is a bit of a mix-n-match, but clean.
Peri Peri chips have kick!!

We had a gorgeous dinner there last. I had the tandoori sea bream and my hubby had the giant king prawns it was amazing!! Remember it is a pub not a restaurant. Food was delicious. Staff really friendly ♥️ Can’t wait to eat there again.
