Fantastic place.
We visited for Mothers Day, and mum received a complimentary Prosecco on arrival and a bunch of daffs on leaving, a really nice touch!
Food, staff, atmosphere & service were impeccable.
We'll be back again.

I'm so glad that we saved this Pub till last on our holiday here in Frant, I wish that I could add another Star 🌟. This place is in a class of it's own around here. The large Aberdeen Angus beefburger with cheese, bacon, onion chutney and fries was absolutely delicious and so was the Stone Bass. Served up in only twenty minutes! The pub looks like it's recently been renovated with a nice contemporary look. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the bar manager? 'Cat' (funny man 🤣) was very courteous. Nice and fresh and clean inside. A fairly large garden/decking area outside, some is covered for shade. The meals were generous in size and reasonable in cost. Looking forward to coming back. 👍🙂

Great food at a great price with fantastic service thrown in too. The menu includes the traditional pub grub of burgers and fish and chips but also more interesting restaurant fayre that was executed brilliantly. We didn't try any, but the small plates/ tapas looked great too and we'll be back to give that a go another time.
Limited choice of ales but we came here to eat and the Harvey's was of course a decent pint.

Lovely Sunday roast. We had booked and they were very busy but they were very attentive and aware. Friendly efficient service and really delicious meal.

I was stranded in snow just beside this pub with my 3 1/2 year old twins in the car with me. The staff were amazing- they stayed open later to help all of the stranded people, kept us up to date with any news about the roads and when they did have to close walked with us to a neighbouring pub that could stay open later. Such kind staff and such a lovely pub

Another truly fabulous Sunday lunch; quite often when you go back somewhere it somehow feels less special than the previous visit. Not here. If you haven’t sampled the Sunday roasts then you just must! Staff wonderful too… ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Manager James was incredibly rude. Tried charging a hire fee he didn’t inform our party about, and wouldn’t own up to his own mistake in not disclosing that price at time of booking.

Would steer well clear of this place, incredibly overpriced for what it is, not to mention the poor hospitality of management.

The food rocks, fantastic service as well!
