The Westbury

Funky little pub - clean and light. Great selection of ales and a chill atmosphere. I was there on a Sunday when the roast was on. The Yorkshire puddings looked the part so I’ll have to come back hungrier. I would advise booking in advance as the tables were all taken. Lovely staff also.

Definitely one of the best pub roasts I've had in a while. Had the chicken, which was cooked amazingly, with good portions of veg. Very happy!

Went to the Westbury last night to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very friendly, especially Demitrez and Ryan were very attentive and made sure we had a great time! Only thing missing was some live music but hopefully we'll see more of that in the future ☺️

A nice pub, wide selection of drinks and the food is good too. The reason its not 5☆ is due to our most recent experience. The Westbury is a dog-friendly pub which is why we like it but be warned not all of the staff are. On our last visit we went for lunch and our server repeatedly made comments to us they didn't like dogs and jumped every time they looked at the dog (which was sat down under the table). It made us feel very awkward and unwelcome and instead of spending longer there and enjoying a few drinks after our meal we felt rushed to leave. I appreciate not everyone likes dogs which is absolutely fair enough. It would have been much better if the server had just asked a colleague to deal with our table instead of making it an awkward experience for both us and them.

Really friendly pub for locals and not only. During the weekends lively atmosphere, outside garden with heaters is just a bonus. Delicious Sunday roast, friendly staff and nice tidy space.

The customer service is much better compared to other restaurants/bars. The energy that the employees have and wholesomeness will make your experience 10x better. The food is really good, and is able to come within a good time and taste wonderful. I highly recommend going for a Sunday dinner or even a night out it’ll be worth it.

The Nut roast was very tasty along with the aldente cooked vegetables 😋...So, the Yorkshire puddings!!! They were monster sized and delicious.

Came across this pub on a Saturday afternoon. Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and broad selection of beers. After sitting in the sun in their outside area, we decided to have lunch inside. Great decision - the food was outstanding, reasonably priced and plentiful. Will definitely return!
