What a lovely pub. The food was brilliant very upmarket tasty grub. Had the lamb was not disappointed. My little boy had a lighter bite which was massive he was very happy (2 and half year old) really recommend the Sunday lunch. But what really made the experience was the service from our waitress, couldn't do enough to help us out and gave us plenty of time to order even when we was being slow to pick. 5 stars easy and I look forward to going again.

Wonderful Sunday roast with beautifully cooked meats. The choice was versatile with lots of options for both vegetarians and vegans too which was nice to see. The starters and desserts were delicious too and I couldn't fault them! The loss of the star is simply because we were waiting quite a long time after finishing courses for clean up and ordering from our attendant. We ended up using the app for food but the function for drinks wasn't available in the end so had to try and flag someone down. If you're not in a hurry the food and atmosphere is well worth the wait! Priced reasonably for the area and the staff are friendly if a bit slow (I will note bar staff were very fast with drinks and serving however, once we were able to get orders in).

Average roast, expected much better for the price. Roast potatoes were great and the rest of the veg was fine, but poor yorkies and crackling. One of the portions of beef was very fatty too. Service wasn’t great either, not very attentive and we had to keep asking to order. Some staff weren’t clued up on allergies at all. I had to tell one server to check with the kitchen as he kept saying “think so” or “pretty sure” not something you want to hear when you have a serious allergy.

It is beyond comprehension this place has ever received anything other than 5 stars. The most sensational unbelievably good roast. We had the sharing lamb shoulder. No roast is ever as good as your own home cooked one- well this place defies that statement entirely.

GO!

We have just had the most delicious Sunday lunch at The Lytton Arms…we had the lamb sharer…I can honestly say it was the best Sunday dinner I’d ever had, the lamb just melted, the roast potatoes were perfection, crispy outside, fluffy in…
The staff are so lovely, welcoming, friendly, easy to chat too…nothing was too much trouble for them…& Michelle was adorable & clearly cooks lamb better than anyone!!
We will most definitely be back…such choices & even the bar snacks…I mean who wouldn’t love honey & mustard mini sausages with a drink!!
Can’t wait for round two…thank you all…

Nice pub with good staff and a nice atmosphere. Must say though unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. Steak and ale pie was small and a touch dry, had it been microwaved? Chicken was chewy, again possible microwave job. Mrs enjoyed her chicken burger so its not all bad news. Reasonable prices but really could be better.

Nice place to stop and rest on a country walk. I like the old Knebworth concert posters too. £3.50 to see Pink Floyd. Bargain.

Lovely place where to meet neighbors. Well decorated, clean and plenty of choices to eat or drink.
It has a big car park and two entrances. Easy to find near the main road and a very welcoming pub.
