Three Compasses

I went on a Thursday afternoon. The food was really good. There was more squid than expected and the butternut squash pie was good quality and the sweet potato fries were crisped well. It was relatively quiet and the poor waitress was doing a sterling job on her own.

We had a private party in the back room of the pub and it was perfect. The staff were amazing and really went above and beyond to make it a great night.

The food is always delicious and the space is excellent for a private party as there are a second set of toilets in there so it really can be private.

I'm really not sure why people have complained in other reviews about the drinks as we've never had issues all the times we've visited and noone had issues on the night of our party.

Such a great pub and they are doing lots of great events such as drag brunch, music nights and quizzes. They also show the football so what's not to love about this place!

The vegetarian roast sadly wasn't nice. End of the day & food tasted reheated many times. The staff were very understanding & gave me a full refund.

Absolutely love the compasses! Such a great local, love their Sunday Roast and the events programme is really interesting, just what the area needs!

Great spot to watch the football, friendly guests and quick service. Good priced pints too!

We just had the Sunday Roast from Mojo Kitchen here and can totally recommend both the beef and the chicken one. Great taste and plating. We'll come by again next Sunday!
