This is your quintessential local boozer. Meaning that the regulars are welcoming, the bar staff are awesome and after a few rounds you become part of the furniture.

So much outdoor space at the front and even more around the back.

So easy to relax and feel like yourself here.

Thank you Kevon and Layla for making me feel at home. Your punters are wonderful!!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a jukebox! You can choose what songs you'd like to play. I got some dirty looks for playing five Taylor Swift songs in a row but... Fair enough, didn't match the vibe! So if you're looking for a pub other than a T. Swift vibe, this is the one for you! They have a pool table but fairly loud music. So you do have to talk louder a bit, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience. A very good one from my few experiences!

Also features outdoor space, perfect for the summer and football games! You have outdoor heaters too, so they should help in colder seasons

🚇 Old Street
🍺 £4.70 Amstel
❤️ A friendly locals pub in Hoxton.
.
The Beehive is located on the edge of the Cranston estate in Hoxton and is around a ten minute walk from Old Street station.
.
A pub has occupied this corner in Hoxton since 1856. The Beehive along with most of the surrounding area was rebuilt after WWII. This pub is built in to the base of a block of flats and if it wasn’t for the patio umbrellas and flowers, you wouldn’t realise a pub was here.
.
The decor here is modern with a bit of traditional brass here and there. This pub has a pool table and plenty of screens showing live sport. There is also a jukebox If you fancy dropping a few tunes.
.
The beer lineup was full of the usual suspects, I decided on an Amstel which was a good pint and south of a fiver, bonus!
.
The atmosphere was upbeat with a dozen or so local punters in plus a group of lads around the pool table. A big shout out to the two girls behind the bar who were so funny and had loads of banter with the regulars, these girls were hilarious.
.
The Beehive is a friendly pub full of welcoming locals and excellent staff. It’s a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit.

Great old fashioned pub. Pool table. Dart board. Cheap enough drinks. 80s night first Saturday of every month

What a classic pub. Bar staff are lovely, it’s rough and ready here- but ever so friendly. Worth a visit if you don’t mind the locals.
