"Probably the best pub Sunday lunch I have ever had", said my youngest son. Food is excellent. The beer is well kept and there is an extensive selection of wine and whiskey. The desserts are delicious. All very good value. Customer service is first rate.

Thank you Nick , your chefs and waiters for a fantastic meal on Saturday. We had a truly superb evening. The fires were burning brightly and it was a lovely friendly, warm and casual atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the steaks. The four of us had a great evening. The wine was exceptional, and we like good wine! The whole experience makes me want to come back soon :)

The Live Inn is extremely cosy, welcoming and serves fantastic food. The staff are very friendly and show excellent customer service, going out of their way to cater for our dietary requirements at such short notice. To top it off, it is one of the most dog friendly pubs we've been to and meeting the owners dog, Flick, made our visit even better.

One of the most dog-friendly places we’ve ever been to. Our dog played happily with 4 other dogs while we had a most delicious Sunday lunch. The red cabbage is to die for and I wish I’d asked them for the recipe!
Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back!

Great village pub, Nick and Chris were so friendly and attentive. A very warm welcome. Food was excellent, good local produce. Great beer garden, with pet bunnies and two very friendly dogs. An extra surprise birthday cake! 🎂🐾

Right from the start this felt like kids playing at running a pub. No menus, staff said "we're just doing pork, beef or lamb roast". Came with 3 small roast potatoes and a slither of roast parsnip, over cooked Carrots and Brocoli, the creamed leeks, cauliflower cheese and red cabbage were OK. Gravy was just coloured water with no taste to it. I had pork which was tough and still had blood in the middle, but the staff were too busy laughing in the kitchen to come and check on us. An older gentleman finally came in to speak to the 1 other couple who were waiting for their food and proceeded to tell them there were no puddings just ice cream, as someone had taken them all out of the freezer not realising they only had a 2 day life then as they were all shop bought. He asked us if everything was alright, and I said the pork was under cooked but he said he told the chef to cook it that way as I could have sent it back and they'd have flashed it under the grill for me. So no starters, no chicken and no puddings. 2 roasts and 2 soft drinks and 1 bitter £40+. I can see why they had hardly any bookings. They just didn't care, we felt like we were in the way, and then just ignored
