Has a fantastic meal here with 12 friends. Food was good quality, ambience lively and the service very professional. Extra thank you to Jeremy and Phoebe who were exceptional.

Nice place to go for a few cocktails and has a mix of a busy pub vibe at the front / eatery in the back. Food is fairly decent, though I think there are better places to eat in berko (if anything order pizza as these are really good)
Toilets have a few busted locks which could do with being fixed, general facility cleanliness is "okay" - like you won't need to hover but you don't want to spend any longer in there than you have to.
The really special thing about this place is the huge fireplace at the front, when lit it's lovely in winter

A great overnight stay for a surprise birthday present, staff were excellent, the pub, building and room were well presented and had alot of carracter.
The food menu was excellent, having a woodfired pizza that was excellent waiting staff were very attentive and friendly.
We were lucky to be upgraded and our room was superb, again in keeping with the history of the building and some excellent little touches.
Finally finished with breakfast, choosing a no pork sausage and hashbrown in a beetroot bun was the final touch, probably the best breakfast I have tasted.
The room was excellent value and the food was well worth the price, I would recommend the Kings arms as an excellent overnight stay.
Thank you to all the staff.

Fabulous place for a drink. Food, as always, was lovely. Gorgeous roaring fire. My only complaint is if you sit near a window, it's absolutely freezing as the front ones don't shut properly. Otherwise, so nice

We went as an 8 person family for lunch on boxing day, friendly welcome, tables ready, and a wonderful roaring fire. Great food arrived with only a short wait, couldn't fault our experience would recommend and certainly would return.

Very disappointed. We’ve been before and had really good food but this evening it was not good. I had prawns to start that were so over cooked. Then main course was cold and my husbands steak was full of gristle and fat. Even when it was sent back I didn’t feel there was any apology. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend the kings arms.
