Great traditional pub with a twist - Thai food.
This used to be my local 30 years ago and its still friendly and comfortable. But maybe only have the quiz in one room (or a little quieter) so those not playing can escape it!

Went there on a Saturday night. The music in the pub was so loud I couldn’t hear my friends speak and it was like being in a night club. It was styled as an Ibiza disco but with people shouting loudly over the music. Not pleasant. I had to leave in the end and go somewhere more pleasant. Not for me. It’s a shame because the pub has good bones but discos and nightclubs are not needed in what is supposed to be a residential pub with food. There were lots of loud people outside the front too when I left. Too noisy by far. It set of the decibel alarm on my phone and I value my hearing too much to lose it in a pub.

The best Sunday roast aside from my Mums 😉 lovely friendly staff…. one of the chefs came over to bring us fresh roast potatoes and roasted carrots as she wanted us to sample them fresh even though what we were served was already delicious, and already planned our next visit!

Well kept local ales and amazing Thai food. The pub has many heritage features and well worth a look.

Oct 2022. Saturday night but no problem just turning up for a meal. The beer is still fab.

Great value accommodation in a quiet part of Ealing but only a 10min walk from a tube station. The Thai food was delicious. The £7.50 two course lunch special was great value.
The bedroom for 4 was a good size and very clean and tidy, the included cooked breakfast was ideal. Recommended

Lovely pub with a great garden for the warmer months, and the garden has outdoor marquees and heaters for winter.
Lovely food, Thai menu, great selection of pub drinks. Inside, there are three distinct drinking areas and a separate dining area. Outside, there are lots of tables so great for outside dining on warm days or when the heaters are on!
I have seen summer bbqs, and there is usually a beer festival mid year! They also have svmcreens for sports.
Always love popping in here, and the staff are all very hospitable! Thanks for your services team, Foresters!!! 5/5 for an all-around experience!

A much-beloved local - very popular (and often used as a TV location owing to its very traditional decor). Also serves very good Thai food and Sunday lunches. Why not five stars? It can be a bit cliquey - if a regular is at the bar, it can take a while for you to be noticed.

Bar staff are amazing, food was alright. Received the worst customer service of my life from the kitchen/waiting staff. They got my order wrong and made me pay for the item they brought to the table. Claimed it was a misunderstanding but I fail to understand why I should have to pay for their misunderstanding. Absolutely shocked at the way the waitress argued back with us and told us that she wasn't going to pay for it so we were going to have to. Terrible service, ruined the whole experience.
