Great pub with a selection of well kept real ale ( doombar , buttybach and pride but they change weekly ) a fine selection of reasonably priced wine and a selection of lagers and of course as I'd the case the days Gin ! Friendly landlady and staff plenty of banter with the locals and free pool and jukebox on Fridays . Pleasant recently landscaped gardens too! Thoroughly recommended.

Its a proper local pub under new management being a old Stroudy and knowing the Fountain well i think the new management will be a good asset cheers.

Spent my first night ever in this pub a few days back. Had a good time watching the footie on the tele with some of the locals. Really enjoyed the feel of the place, yeah it was noisy n crowded, but it was also choc full of laughter, respect and friendliness from both the punters and the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my night in The Fountain...it's a fun and joyful place to hang out.

Great local, service is excellent and friendly staff and pub goers. Quiz night was brilliant...I will continue to visit frequently.
