O'Neill's Beckenham

We come here every Sunday to watch F1 race and every time there the same staff member makes problems for us. A middle aged woman with black hair (always on Sunday afternoon shift). Either she doesn't want to put the sound on, or she cuts the program short because someone else what's to watch football or rugby (despite multiple screens in the pub where few things can be watched at the same time) or she switches on music because some customer doesn't want to listen to the commentary.
Today she made us move to a different table and left the sound deliberately on low volume on one of smaller screens. She didn't even ask, only said "Other customer doesn't want to listen to F1, you will have it on a small screen"
This is a sports pub, there is a section for customers who are not interested in sports and you advertise the F1 screening every week! We are a couple of customers in our 30s,always having lunch and a few drinks while watching F1. So what is the actual problem here?
She is allowed to pick and choose herself what is being screened or pick and choose which customer is "more valuable"?
My partner just got a response on his reviews that there is a football game at the same time. Just got turned on at 47th minute of that particular game (strange!) and nobody is watching it!
The attitude and customers service of that woman towards us was plain rude.

Good location , right opposite the station and has a nice outside seating/garden area.

Popped in for a drink with a few friends and had a bite to eat , food was really nice and very reasonable priced 👍

Staff was friendly and welcoming and also the pub has multiple tv screen and shows the sports which is an added bonus 😊

Food is excellent with a good range of drinks. Staff are friendly and hospitable. Value for money. We are regulars here and have always had a good time.

On Friday night 28/10/22 had the displeasure of coming across a jumped up door man on a power trip. So we refused to come in and went to 'my place' a 2 minute walk away instead. Don't really understand why these venues put these losers in a position of authority just for them to abuse it ....

Came in for a quick drink before my train journey home. Great staff and the manager was making me laugh and full of life. Definitely will be back in the future

This place is a dump. Staff are very rude and service is appalling. Men's toilet door cubicle wouldn't even lock.

I couldn't even hear myself talk with the volume of the tv.

Has a severe rat infestation. Food and drinks are heavily overpriced and gross. Tastes like it's been reheated.

Avoid at all costs. They need to be shut down.

Couple nyash but mostly man inside 🙈🤷‍♂️

Tight but polite security 💯🏆

Had an amazing evening watching the football - food was brilliant, drinks were delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. 5/5, would recommend to friends!
