Have not been there for forty years nice pub

Proper local boozer, attentive staff, friendly locals. Milo was great. From the visiting north easterners.

I turned up to the door and Angie waved me in with her enthusiasm hit it off immediately

A wonderful East end backstreet pub, tucked away on the northern edge of Limehouse but easy to reach from the DLR station. A loyal band of regulars add to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The beer is great but, perhaps not the best destination if you are after a selection of Cask Ales (there are none as far as I can see). There are however kegs aimed to keep the beer drinker happy. Great lad behind the bar today with kind words for all his customers. A most enjoyable stop on a drinking life.

Superb east end pub with fantastic music on the duke box.

Great place, went in there for some light coca cola as there were no nearby off licences. Amazing staff with an amazing ambience. It's not one of those hyped trying to stay relevant bars. The people who visit are warm too.

First of all, the girls behind the bar were brilliant when I went there!. They were attentive, and smiley. The pub itself was clean. This is a pub where you will meet locals. A friendly place well worth a visit.
