Sir Richard Steele Pub and Dining

The Sir Richard Steele is probably my favourite pub. With its upstairs area currently being converted into flat, the future of the pub is a bit uncertain, but when it's open it's lovely. It's in a perfect location, and the beer garden is fenced off from the rest of the world for a feeling of security and privacy. The interior decor is incredible; there's always some ornament or hanging picture that I spot for the first time with each visit. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly. It's the best pub!

Decent pub with beer garden, albeit on a busy road. Very quiet when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Would return.

Nice pub - rubbish selection of beer and no food. But on the plus side they were happy to let punters bring fish n chips in from next door 👍
