Food here is excellent done by Josh and his team and the puds are amazing little wonder josh won awards in the past for them

Held our mum’s wake at this pub for 40 people. Excellent spread of food with tea and coffee also provided. Staff were efficient and friendly - would thoroughly recommend.

Good beer, friendly staff. First time for us after moving to the area, looking forward to returning for a Sunday lunch as we’ve heard good things!

Love our local! Everyone at the chequers always make up feel welcome, from the day we moved to the village to three years later we have always had fabulous service. Best Sunday roast I have had in a long time

What a great village and community pub. You know, like pubs used to be 25 years ago. Very friendly locals and staff alike. Would highly recommend 👌
