The Old Star

The old star ale and cider is a lovely place to visit if you like it real ale and unusual ciders that you can't normally get in your mainstream pubs as they are from the local area. The barstaff and customers are so welcoming even if you don't come from the area. Well worth a visit.

Basic, no frills and utterly wonderful. This is a timeless little place with great beer and cider served in a traditional way. Lots of improvised seating and a cheerful atmosphere. Really good place for a drink and a chat. Love it.

Great little bar. Amazing selection of ciders, the owners are super friendly. If you visit Shoreham it's a must to pop in.

Small is not always bad. Had two ales on but both excellent and barman was great company.

Good beer and cider, owner and locals very welcoming. Will be back

Great find after a decent Sunday walk. Three ales on offer on our visit, all gravity served from the cask. Wine also available
