Had a lovely meal here before going to the social club, nice bar area, clean toilets and quiet eating area too. Staff were fabulous, I was working with a disabled individual, the staff were so caring and the clientele friendly, they really went over and above. Thank you, I can't recommend it enough.

Lovely... friendly staff, light and airy seating in the conservatory, we both had the lasagne and salad off the 2 for £10 menu, which was served quickly and was a hearty enough lunchtime portion for both of us

Had a lovely meal here between Christmas and New Year. Roaring log fire and enough choice on the menu to warrant a decent ponder. I opted for Chilli and my husband had a burger with Bacon and cheese. The chips were proper home made and plentiful. Meal excellent. Needless to say we shall be returning.

A great pub in terms of beer, decor and layout but it is ALWAYS cold. The staff are always in fleeces - not a good sign. From late summer to our most recent visit over Christmas, and despite an open fire, it is just too cold to be comfortable. As a result, the red wine was also too cold. Not going back 🙁.
