Good pub: friendly people behind the bar. Good range of beers and quiet garden at the back. Unfortunately my party arrived too late to taste the food that they had to offer, but we were able to order a takeaway, and had it in the pub with plates and cutlery suppled by the pub at no extra cost. For those staying on the Salhouse Broads, they offer a free pick up service: they will pick you up and drive you back for free - that's what I call excellent customer service :-)

Looks great from the front and inside with traditional wooden beams. The thing that REALLY lets this place down is the menu is VERY limited. Just burgers, scampi, all day breakfast and three specials. I went there with my brother and father and waited 58 minutes from the time of ordering to when all of us had our meals in front of us. We all said that we won't be going back.
I ain't bovvered.

Lovely old traditional pub, plenty on the menu and the food was delicious and plenty full. Cooked by the chef who actually cares and has pride in the dishes he prepares, great value too. Yes the pub could do with a paint brush and new carpet in the restaurant and I hope this could be done in the future. Will we be back, of course because the food and barstaff were great.

Superb pub and friendly staff. This pub has to have the best beer garden in Norfolk and they always have good beers on tap. The food is good quality and reasonably priced and it's a nice crowd in there. It's definitely one of the best pubs in Norfolk.

Nice little pub, only serve food on certain days but that's all detailed outside. They don't let dogs in which is a little unusual but ultimately wasn't an issue on my visit as they have a large beer garden at the rear. It's clearly a local pub and not simply to cater for the tourists walking up from Salhouse Broads but that's fine it has the charm you won't get from the many pubs that are for the tourists.
