What a great pub! Good beer, fantastic staff and excellent food at very reasonable prices. Well worth visiting.

By far one of the best pubs I've been to. So good we came back the next evening too! Absolutely beautiful food, very generous portions and excellent pricing. Lovely little place and staff to match. Look no further!

Popped in a little late with the hope they were still serving food and much to our delight they were!! We both had homemade steak pie, chips, peas and gravy and we left with 2 very happy and very full bellies 😋 The food was lovely, the staff are very friendly...a lovely find after a walk in the lakes. Try it!

Warm welcome from staff, excellent hot food, for the 5 of us adults plus little one, good service, very obliging with the young grandchild in highchair, and was the same experience a month ago. Would definitely recommend the Greyhound Inn. Do book beforehand as we visited on Thursday 8th September and they were really busy at 7pm so we had to wait until 8pm for our meal. We didn't mind the wait as was worth it.

Just moved to the area and popped in on speck ad they serve food, had sweet chilli 🌶 chicken with rice and 🍟 chips, with a couple of pints, very nice and they do Sunday lunches with im sure I will try this Sunday. Only criticism I was really quiet they was music playing but it was that quiet we felt like we had to wisper our conversation so 4 out of 5 stars 🌟 🤩 from us

Call in by chance, lovely welcome and wonderful real pub food. Spot on and just what we needed after a damp day up Scarfell Pike.

Popped in today while passing, lovely food, homely atmosphere, lovely attentive staff.

Went for an early lunch food was great, portion sizes bit too big for me.
Great staff.
