The Vault

A wonderfully quirky little bar, hidden away underground. Funky decor and a relaxing ambience. It can get quite busy towards closing time. Drinks were super cheap! I'd recommend the Refresher cocktail (see the cocktails board to the right of the bar). Would certainly revisit!

Been here a few times now. Last Friday the place was very full and a few too many loud young school children, not under control.
This week, real ale not available and mixers were flat. Companion couldn’t taste the rum at all in a double rum and coke. Didn’t drink it in the end.
Polite staff. Quirky decor. One of the old leather seats rather past shabby chic and held together with black tape.
Cocktails very nice.

This is a really good bar. Being underground with vaulted brickwork gives it a great feel. The decor is just right and there's a triffic good smoking area to the rear that isn't underground. We'll done to the friendly staff.

My partner Deb and I visited for the first time yesterday. The food was outstanding and the staff were exceptionally welcoming. Had a great chat with the business owner about the fascinating building and its resident ghosts. Highly recommend the food and drink, well worth visiting if you haven't already :)

Lovely bar with great atmosphere, beer and friendly people

Omg wot an amazing pub, we stayed in one local B&B over weekend, out walking came across this fantastic pub the vault like going into cavern down stairs in Liverpool 😱, wot an amazing place full of exciting memerbila inside, it's also set up lovely with all Xmas Dec's 🎄😱 sooo cozy and snug warm and friendly atmosphere, everyone talks to everyone even if you don't no them 😊 staff are amazing and the manger so friendly had fantastic chat with her, will defo be going back again a worthy place to go to if your staying over in the village 10/10 be seeing yous again soon sue mick from Liverpool 😊

Lovely quirky little bar that we found whilst we were on holiday. Great drink selection and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit.
