Visited the Hare in Farndon for Sunday lunch, moved table as we felt too.close to others - needing to feel safe with a good distancing between tables. Food very good, drink service was a little too slow and NO cocktails served at the moment. Overall a lovely lunch and we would defo visit again. Lovely to have a good local pub that's walkable

The food and the service were excellent.....the front garden tables offer such a lovely view of this beautifal village, which we were fortunate to visit on a superb summers day.
Titalky excellent experience all round.
We will definately return to thus excellent establishment.

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff, great drinks menu, delicious, creative and astonishingly affordable food.

We were so pleased we chose to drop in. Haven't been anywhere as good as this in ages.

Our first visit after walking along river Dee and it will not be our last. Seated outside and received friendly fast table service (where unlike Morris Dancer in Kelsall you don't have to pay up front!). Decent ale selection and lunch food was tasty so to paraphrase a well known advert "it does what it says on the tin". We are planning an evening trip with friends.

Nice place. Attentive service. Menu range generally good (we only ordered Mains), but portions smaller than expected. Not saying a problem, but just be aware if you have a hearty appetite.

Great food and atmosphere, having tried 4 out of 4 of the pubs, we found the menu could of been varied more .

First time in a quite lovely village 2 minutes walk from the river Dee. Glorious weather today to enjoy a lovely spot of lunch with long see family. Covid rules were in place . Staff was polite and helpful 🙂. Dog friendly pub. We had lovely food. Fish and chips, asparagus and egg, pork loin and the beef burger . All our food was delicious.
