Had lunch there today and the food was so nice, enjoyed every but if it. Service was great too. Couldn't fault it and will go again.

Very friendly atmosphere and a real log fire to warm yourself. The young lady behind the bar was very welcoming and helped us settle in. Food was delicious, I have a dairy allergy so I opted for the vegan burger and it was very tasty, my friend had macaroni cheese with bacon. Would recommend

perfect service well mannered and to your liking if your not happy they are willing to rectify it they have suitable chairs for young kids that are highchair age and disablility access 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My last 2 visits for a sunday lunch have been disappointing! Good food I can not fault that but when asked for a zero alcoholic large in a bottle no glass was given and when asked for one it took the young lady I have to say who looked very stressed about 10 minutes and had to remind her again! Was told they had only pork and beef so asked for pork and then was given chicken ! the second time I could not even get served so walked out.i know there is staffing issues especially when busy and know all about retail work but I think it something to be looked at to keep your customers.

This was a really lovely friendly pub. Unfortunately it was was visited in sad circumstances,as of a funeral. But they did lay on a lovely spread paid for by the family. But all staff came and collected empty plates. Made freshly made coffee and tea as we entered. Very welcoming staff and very friendly.
