Great well kept, child friendly pub. Good clean facilities including on site parking, a park for the kids at the rear and a beer garden. Toilets were clean and tidy and the service at the bar was pretty good too. I'd certainly recommend.

Fantastic place for a pint & a meal, kind staff, good food, great atmosphere.

Marstons pub. Food service times vary so if you're planning on eating check they are serving beforehand because there's nothing else nearby!

The food was nice but got given a glass that had a lipstick mark on it.

Held my mum’s 80th party here last night for 60 guests - and it was perfect! Great buffet, and the bar staff, and all working behind the scenes, fabulous! Nothing was too much trouble, from preparing the room, sorting music, keeping the buffet table brimming, and generally making sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for making it so special. Sam - you’re a fantastic manager - we really appreciated the hard work of you and your great team!

A warm and friendly place to come. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile here to make your visit an enjoyable time. Sam is an excellent manager, we have been coming here at least 22 years and Sam ranks at the top of the manager list here in our thoughts.

Warm welcome from Sam and his staff. Very few chefs can cook a true "blue" steak without the plate swimming in blood too .... the chef here is a gem!!!!
Ample parking; well stocked too with ales and spirits. Excellent ambience.
