Absolutely a fantastic pub in Burgess Hill.
Staff very friendly and helpful. My family loves the the food, it's not much what's offered but it's delicious. 😋(Apple crumble)😋 with custard and cream.

We have frequently been to the Woolpack and never disappointed. Lovely staff, clean and great atmosphere throughout the year. The food is always delicious and there is something for everyone. I would describe the food as modern yet classic - spot on. The pub garden is lovely and has a play area for children.

I never normally leave reviews on places, especially not pubs, but I was so disappointed with the food, I thought I'd have to share.
The pub is lovely, staff were great, garden looked really nice, I would definitely go back, but for drinks only!
We went one Sunday afternoon for a roast. My husband and I had the pork and my friend had the nut roast. The pork was so thin, it's like it came straight out of a packet. The veg were boiled within an inch of their lives, with absolutely no seasoning or butter. It was just mushy brocoli and tasteless, watery carrots.
I poured gravy all over my plate, to try to add some flavour, but even the gravy was tasteless. It was just watery gravy. I've never put so much salt on my plate before...
It's really disappointing because we would love to make this pub our local, because everything else about it seems absolutely fine, but the food was just appalling, my friend didn't finish her nut roast either, but I didn't ask why.
It was very disappointing...

Ate here last night after visiting in Burgess Hill. Really lovely pub, loads of room with a huge beer garden including covered area and children's play area. Food was great and arrived very quickly. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.

A lovely large garden area divided very attractively onto many discrete areas, no feeling of being close to housing or roads.
Very pleasurable.
A nicely prepared and presented lunch.

Nice looking pub, high ceilings barn type although cold. Butternut squash soup which tasted nice with some ciabatta bread, however about 3 or 4 spoonfuls at the most?? Shared a tuna sandwich with some chips, nothing outstanding. Will not return.

Usually I am not one for Xmas. But this place and the staff gave me a wonderful evening. They have good taste regarding decorations. The food Top Class!! Lot's of variety on drinks too.
