Had the fish and chips, fish was large and fresh with a great batter, chips were home made and very tasty. Washed down with some good quaility real ale... 👌

Christmas day dinner, pushed up the corner took a hour to get our meals. When they arrived they were all burnt and I have never had chewy sprouts before. Diabolical £57.00 each, I wouldn't even spend £5.00 on it.

Great bar, great place, I can not believe it's getting bulldozed to make way for a CO-OP. Best bar in the village by a country mile serving the villagers and passers by for 150 years. Happy New Year, for as long as it lasts. Great beers, real ale selections, pool, darts, sky sports with all the games and a restaurant that serves good food. Caravan and camping site at that back is excellent. Even though I live in the village I camp at the pub its such a great place. BUT unfortunately steamrollered by some planning committee councillors that OBVIOUSLY do not know the value to the village of a proper local and have never been there to sample the atmosphere. TRAGIC. Green Man is the best pub by far and is to be demolished, when we do not know. RIP.. sad sad state of affairs. Bulldozing a pub that serves the village and creates competition with the other public house, which soon will hold a monopoly, with no competition.

Great for a meal, lots of different choices, sized tables to sit at, we sat by the open window, looking across to Putney Heath. My partners sister came down from Leighton Buzzard to see us so we took here there. Lovely staff, garden at the back, and great views of the heath, almost feels like you are in the country, when you are actually in London! Medium expensive prices I would say.
