Just popped in for a swift pint. Very lively on a wet Wednesday. No food. Good beer. Don't forget to hand in your car reg if you are lucky enough to find a space in the car park. We are not local. Passing through. I once lived in West Byfleet though.

Horrid place!! Came here to bide time whilst waiting for our dog to be cremated at the Pet Cemetery up the road, spent less than £10 on two drinks then ended up paying £140 for parking!! We were the only people in there, the bar man should have prompted us to sign in as we did not really notice that you had to, we were not aware of much that day. Then the parking company sent us photos with a fine, And in the photos you could see me and my partner sitting outside with our drinks. We had all the proof that was needed. Bank statement etc. Phoned the landlord twice as we then had a reminder, he said don't worry I'll sort this, if you get any more just throw them away. A couple of months later we get a letter from a lawyer saying this needs to be paid, I tried to disbute it , but all they could do was reduce it a bit because of the reason we were there. So will NEVER EVER use this place again. We'll just stick to hanging out at the golf course if this ever occurs again!!!

The plough is a the heart of Byfleet , serving decent wine an providing a hub for the village , good little beer garden and a good selection of drinks , while it's not the largest place they make it work and have love music now and then too .

I've been to many many less appealing pubs .

530 quid for 2 pints!!

Although I've put my car reg down multiple times (which doesn't work as the staff seem to all select different time periods to park) and written to the parking company (which the pub can't help with) 🤔. Am about to pay £265 per pint for my 2 pints, in total over £530!

When originally speaking to the landlord he explained he may be able to help but can't promise anything and I should write a letter to the parking company to which I did. The company ignored my letters and have now taken the ticket to court, issuing me x2 claims for 2 separate offences.

Am a local Byfleet lad which is a shame as I did enjoy this pub but no longer want to visit.

This has happened to multiple of my friends and we are all fed up with this legal scam.

Visited the Plough last month for a drink before heading out for dinner, and 3 weeks later I receive a parking charge for parking in the pub car park!

Warning signs are not at eye level and in the dark are not visible! We were NOT told whilst we ordered drinks, that we should sign our car in if we had parked. Which I believe is poor treatment of your customers!

Called and spoke to the miserable manager, who advised me to show proof of drinks purchase to the parking company when I appeal! Which made no difference at all! As today I am paying a £60 fine!

I will not be giving my custom anymore to a greedy owner, who has no common decency for his/hers customers! I have warned many people especially, our wide range of friends & family who visit frequently and they won't be giving you custom either.

Thank you very much for taking money from a already struggling family due to loosing jobs through the pandemic!

An average pub at best but not so disproportionately cheap that it needs to be supplemented by extortionate parking costs. Not advised at the point of being seated or ordering and disadvantages the uninitiated. Made a single drink very expensive. Have left messages with the staff but not returned any calls even to apologise. Disappointing for an establishment professing to cater to a local demographic.
