Great little pub. Watch out for the low ceiling. Always comical when someone drunk hits their head (sorry). Live sport on the tv. Friendly welcoming staff. Good selection of drinks and bar snacks. Dart board. Beer garden.

Lovely and friendly place, stayed there for the night very clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Looking forward to staying here again.

Decent room, was upgraded to a king size, even though booked for a double. Was very pleased. Met with Annette for check in, she is rather a pleasant lady and very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend to others for a short stay. Sadly I did not have time to take any pics.

Proper historic pub with low ceilings and usually 4 real ales. Proper Job, Betty Stoggs and the excellent Dark Star Hophead plus a guest. Real ale kept in excellent condition with 10p discount on a pint for Camera members. Staff helpful and friendly. Outside seating to lap up the sun.

Best pub in town. Great service, beautiful interior and garden. You couldn't ask for a more complete vintage pub 👌

A regular visitor to this pub. And a welcome extension is taking place. That will complete the place for me. Good beer and friendly staff

A 'proper' pub. Traditional old town style with a good choice of beer.

My 'Local' This is a real old school pub, mind your head, with super friendly service and locals. They have music festivals at different times of the year also. It's small but amazing.
I recently stayed in a room in the hotel part for 17 days and it was super comfortable and a nice size being a King-size bed room. I had a fridge and microwave which was very convenient. I love it here!
