Spring River

While staying at the Spring River Ebbsfleet Inn we ate at the pub several times. The atmosphere is like a cozy corner pub. There is a great selection of drinks. The food was delicious and I tried my first Yorkshire Pudding and shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was heavenly. All the staff were friendly and hard working. Each time our waitress Debs was outstanding. She was friendly and efficient. She explained what some of the dishes were to us Americans. She checked on us often even with a busy dining room.

This week was very busy and I bring my family to try this place this time . We order 4 burgers us you can see it in pictures we had 2 chiken and 2 beef burgers one off burger bun was over burned .food looking good . Sweet potato and regular once . Regular was bit over cooked was to crispy .beef would like to see it bit more juicy to dry . Chicken burger I would say was bet option. Nachos one off our family favour share dish souce was very tasty slightly spicy this is how we like it, and melted cheese, jalapeño.

Would I recommend I would say for price we payed not bad good enough quality but is place where to improve on quality .

Went to dinner Monday night at 1830 at spring river. There was no carvery they said they had sold out. So I ordered steak with just a salad and my partner ordered a cowboy burger.
Steak came with 4 pieces of rocket, one quarter of a tomato, I slice of cucumber that was it.
My partners cowboy burger was served in a battered old tin bowl, literally rough edges and plastic coating on the tin had started to crack.
I called the manager who's people skills were non existent. He just said sorry. We are regular customers but won't be going back.

Customer service well good, food tasty, curry very hot ,but still lovely. Kids loved their dessert too. Would definitely recommend

We came here at my son's request for his birthday meal after school. The food was lovely. The atmosphere was lovely. It was a clean and well kept environment. The service was very good. Debs, our server, was fabulous- very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely return.

Great value carvery here. Big warm friendly pub with good car park and outside space in the summer. Jane and Dan are the friendliest staff serving on.

We had our Christmas Meal there. They seemed very short staffed. We had the carvery which was lovely. The sticky toffee pudding not so much. The first couple of orders the dessert was raw but Jamie who was our server sorted everything out in a fast and efficient way. He was very good the whole time we were there and such a hard worker. He truly deserved the tip we left. Thank you Jamie you were great!

I planned a celebration meal and initially booked for fifteen people and had to change the booking at a days notice to twenty. This was inconvenient for them but they kindly amended our details, so a huge thank you to Spring River for being so accommodating!
We took a long time ordering (because of people arriving at different times) and under no pressure at all. Our waiter was extremely patient offering us drinks while we decided on what to eat. Our bill had to be split and they kindly let us pay on numerous cards and it wasn't a problem at all!
The starters and main courses were great value for money, very large portions and the desserts were (without a doubt) the 'icing on the cake' 🍰🍰🍰
This is our fourth family celebration here and I couldn't fault it and I wish I could award our waiter a medal 🏅 as he certainly deserved it! Thank you Spring River 🏆🎉
