Great pub nice and spacious lovely decor with friendly helpful staff...fiod was seeved quickly hot and was delish...been here a few times and never been disappointed...great choice of drinks with reasonable priced foid and drinks...really nice selection of food to suit all.

Main room was clean and welcoming, chips were amazing, salad was fresh and drinks were nice. However, the food was uninspired at best and gross at worst. The lasagne was bland and the pasta so mushy it could be moulded like dough. The mixed grill had many issues, steak tasted odd and metallic, gammon was absurdly salty, chicken was overcooked and leathery, veg was cold. Nowhere near worth the price we paid and took twice as long to arrive as advised. Only 3 high chairs in a "family friendly" establishment. Ladies, gents and disabled toilets all needed cleaning and had wet floors. We will not return.

Good pub brill service exceiient staff very friendly place to drink

A good pub with reasonable prices, food is very good pub grub. The breakfast menu is very good quality and a fair price. Gets very busy when sporting fixtures are on. I would have given it 5 stars but the toilets are awful.

Pub! Plenty of screens to watch sport, Guiness and crisps. They do food as well but we were there for beer and football.

It was quite busy when we visited and they normally have good beers on but it was a bit more limited than usual 🙄they had the music full blast so that you had to shout your conversations and at the time we were there, early evening they seemed to be deliberately avoiding Christmas music 🎅

Place nice and clean welcoming atmosphere. Not busy but waited 15 mins to get order taken at the bar. Staff friendly. Waited 25mins + for food to arrive and server did apologise for wait. Had starter of nacho which cost £5 not the best value for money and jalapeno where missing. Main course arrived before we had eaten our starter again staff Did apologise. My son had wrap which looked ok with chips that where overcooked and most probably dipped. I had the giant bap with turkey and stuffing which was not giant by any means just a regular bap and the meat was overcooked rock hard and looked very unappetising I got it changed second one looked better
still if your going to claim a giant bap you need to deliver especially when you charge as much as you do. Service good food rubbish and overpriced. Won't bother again

My husband and I had an evening meal which was very well presented, tasty and value for money. Returned again morning after for full English breakfasts. Both times we found the crown pub to be very clean, food good value well cooked, staff very pleasant and helpfully.
