First visit to this lovely friendly pub just a short distance from Dover and Canterbury. There's a huge inglenook fireplace and two comfortable seating areas as well as a quiet secluded garden to the side of the building.
With a choice of popular beers and spirits and an equally popular Sunday lunchtime restaurant this is somewhere to return to soon.

Chose this lovely village pub to enjoy their food as advertised on website, most disappointing as no food will be served at all this weekend. Website states food served every day with booking required for Sunday lunch. Landlord or Landlady were absent and we were advised that if we required food a booking was required for any tome and any day of week.Found this bizarre as the pub was virtually empty other than a couple of locals having a pint We drunk our beers up and arranged a fish and chip supper, so it would appear that this pub which was recently taken over by new owners/tenants has not made much impact within the local community. Will think twice as to whether visiting in future,.

A welcoming pub for an enjoyable pint or three. No frills, friendly staff and good beer. Taditional pub atmosphere and locals who will talk to you, a village pub as it should be.

Beautiful country setting, staff felt approachable and the overall atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Only a few ales on tap but for a small, out in the sticks, kind of place it was plenty and a good variety. Pool table last time I visited was free to the public, for a casual night out it is great place to go and sometimes you can catch an event too. Decor feels homely with couches in a side room and a lovely open fire burning.

Friendly village pub.

Stopped by for some pub grub on the way back home. Great homemade pie (Made from an old pie shop) as a special.

Price was surprisingly cheap for 3 dinners and a few drinks.
