Visited a couple of times and we always enjoyed friendly service, and great vibe. Love the decor throughout.

They also serve arguably the best triple-cooked chips in town! The fish and chips was on point. Also enjoyed the 3 small plates for £15. Food was freshly cooked and service was fast. Great selection of gin.

Monday lunch was quiet. Wednesday after work was very busy. They have private function rooms for hire.

Accessibility: some steps leading to the entrance, and toilets are downstairs, however they do have a wheelchair lift.

Toilets: clean and spacious

Tasty food served by friendly staff in a dimly lighted pub & then one of the customer's fell down the badly marked steps smashing into another table full of drinks with the glasses being smashed & the customerl lying flat on the floor under the table. Lucky not to be badly injured. Toilets need keeping clean.

Incredible service and a great selection of beers both mainstream and local independent including a few true East London Breweries. The Fish Finger Sandwich was awesome as well 😊

Lovely traditional pub in Moor Gate, with a pool table in the cellar bar..Great choice of ales and very friendly staff. Would have given 5 stars if the food choice was improved a little.

Good pub for drinking something in After Work time. We stayed there when it was the World Cup and the screen was very large.
If I go to London for another moment it would be a place I'd like to visit.

Insanely loud club music for what is exclusively an after works drink pub and no food on the night we went as kitchen closed. Quite rude staff (probably stressed out due to working in loud clubby music all night). The drinks were nice and G&T tasty because they use nice tonics, and high quality glassware but no garnishes.

Door opening constantly so if you are in a table by the door you will freeze in the winter. Wouldn’t go again which is a shame because it looks quite cosy and lovely from the street.

We had a large reserved area in the basement for a group of 60. Great friendly attentive service throughout the evening. And some lovely cheesy chips. Thanks.

And now another visit just before Christmas. Busy but quick bar service and great barman from Dublin.
