Midweek lunch. Excellent food, prompt service with a smile, sensible prices. Also cool inside on a very hot day. Would recommend and visit again.

Had several visits to the Wateringbury and it's always been exceptional, and this was no different. Popped in with the wife for a late lunch and it was simply amazing - and the specials! The risotto and pheasant starters were incredible, and the boar burger was on another level. Well worth a visit and always well done team Wateringbury - we'll be back!

Just had a lovely meal at The Wateringbury. I come here often and am never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and Darren provided excellent service tonight. My daughter had the vennison pie from the Specials Menu which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return again and again.

Very tasty food, and friendly staff. We have had both breakfast and dinner. The pate perfect as was the chicken and hock pie and steak and ale pie.

A nice evening, food was alright. But the accommodating efforts from the waiting staff were the most impressive part of the evening; dining with someone recovering from an eating disorder can be fraught with difficulty. But the team at The Wateringbury called in advance of our visit to discuss our requests made on the online booking regarding a redacted menu (without the mandated calorie information) and then swiftly made the required adjustments - with the help of a marker pen - before we arrived so everything was in place and facilitated an enjoyable evening.
Waiting staff were attentive without being pushy. Food could have been hotter and the plates - especially the undersides - were dirty with brown scum marks.
But the efforts of the waiting team were really impressive and we are really grateful for this.

Lovely evening we went to see some friends who were the family of a fried who died recently. He was a regular
ar at the watering bury and the staff have planted arose in his memory in the garden. The food and service were first class as usual

Popped in with my mum and daughter, after a trip to Pembury hospital.Seated straight away, even though we hadn't booked. Food superb, fantastic service, our server was an older gentleman, he was lovely! Will definitely visit again and recommend.

Good for a drink but it’s let down in other areas. It’s a nice pub and has a good range of drinks but a lack of staffing means the wait times are currently high. The food can also be good but on our last visit it was a little disappointing. Lots of potential, I hope they can pull it all together.
