Nice little pub, quiet and welcoming and friendly staff. Small lunch menu, but sufficient and cheap. Football on the tv. Dogs are welcome. Outdoor seating out the front and back which would be nice on a Sunny afternoon. Under new management. Looks like they have live music on at weekends too, so can't knock it.

Fantastic. Best Sunday pub lunch that I've had for a long, long time. I had the pate starter, roast beef with season fresh vegetables, cauliflower cheese and gravy. Then I had apple pie and ice cream, could have had custard. All that for £13.00, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.
If you are stopping in Coventry, then it's worth driving to Brinklow. Give them a call and make a reservation

What a lovely little pub. Friendly staff and fab villagers! I had the pleasure of performing my Alison Moyet Tribute and 80s show to them recently and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Passing through on the canal and we arranged to meet a friend here for a quick drink. What we didn’t expect was to find was such a lively vibe on Sunday night. Super fun and friendly with great bar service by Charlotte. Definitely worth the walk from the canal and a fun way to spend a Sunday night!

Just passing through when we found this delightful friendly pub serving an excellent pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord and very nice ham rolls, just what we needed !

Just a quick whistle stop after walking the dog. Didn't get to see much inside but looked nice. Grassy play area for kids. Under cover seating outside if needed. Had a very nice pint of beer. Very handy pub if doing the canal walk. Will go again to find out more. Xx

Enjoyed a drink with family and friends after a post Christmas walk at Coombe Abbey. Service was good and bar staff were friendly.

Excellent! A beautiful building, with all the Roman features still intact, fantastic cosy family atmosphere, very polite staff, and the Sunday Roast was perfect!! As a woman I noticed sanitary products in the toilet too, which I have to say is a beautiful touch. We will be definitely returning and 100% recommend.
