Just had our first meal here. The staff were very friendly. The pub is welcoming to dogs. It was clean and well priced. The starters we had were amazing and the mains were very tasty too. Over all a 5 star evening and will definitely be heading back there again.

We had a brilliant stop at this beautiful, clean pub. We sat in their well kept garden at the back and enjoyed a really nice meal. I was worried the food would be disappointing, because the menu was SO long - but actually everything was really nice, good quality food, well presented and delicious. And inexpensive. The staff had laid on an Easter Egg hunt too - which was very generous! It was surrounded by beautiful countryside locally too.

Shared an amazing meal here with friends. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would have given them 10 stars if I could have.

Very nice and quiet place, let's say, in the middle of nowhere. Very good variety of food on the offer + cold beer served. Staff is nice and polite and helpful. Definitely would stay there again 👍👍👍

Excellent Sunday carvery served by friendly, efficient staff. Decent choice of roasted meats or vegetarian option, wide range of freshly prepared vegetables. Naughty puddings also on offer. Tables thoroughly cleaned between visitors dining.

Really liked this pub. We all had sandwiches and fries with a drink for lunch. Everything was excellent and not over priced. Friendly staff. A sandwich for less than £7!

On a very wet drive to collect a dining table (think biblical and rivers for roads) we were running late for a meal at a chain restaurant closer to home (Brighton)

We happened across this pub and tried our luck for a table for 5 at 1700. Not only did they have a table but they had an all day Carvery and had just refreshed the veg.

The food is large portions and so tasty! Our kids all had small servings and this was more than enough. The ‘adult’ medium was huge and I don’t think we would have managed the large plate.

Puddings are as you’d expect from a local pub. Moorish and large portions.

Good selection of soft drinks for drivers as well as ales and beers for the lucky few who are not driving.

If we are in the area in future (and maybe even if not) we will be coming back
