Staff are inexperienced but friendly and attentive. Food was well below standard even for a chain pub. Burger came without lettuce and tomato, steak was full of fat, scampi was all breadcrumbs and hardly any fish, cheese was not melted in Nachos. My daughter's mains was served at the same time as all our starters including hers. Then we waited 45 minutes for the rest of the mains. Over £60 for 2 courses for 4 people drinking only soft drink. Brewers Fayre offers better food and value and that is saying something.

Been meaning to revisit after the shocking first visit when it first opened... And I have to say things have certainly improved in all fronts...

Nice, full menu with lots of choices to cater for all dietary needs. Staff extremely friendly, chatty and helpful.

The whole place looks clean and inviting...

Prices are very reasonable and the special evenings make the offers to good to turn down...

Recommend a visit to everyone 👍👍👍

Another great visit! Visit regularly for a drink and occasionally for a meal. I believe they have recently had a new chef as we were advised the wait time might be a little longer as they had a new member of the team in the kitchen. Food arrived within about 20 minutes and was piping hot and beautifully presented. We had the cod, and two pies. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the food was tasty and food value for money and the pub was spotlessly clean. Looking forward to our next visit!

First visit. Wish this pub was nearer to us as we went with friends who live in that area. Fabulous Thursday steak offer. Food was very very nice. Our dog was very welcome too which was an added bonus. Lovely place and lovely staff.

Had the most amazing steak.
I’ve had steaks from here before, but I this one was amazing.
Piping hot.. cooked to perfection…
And the steak knife glided straight through.
Compliments to the chef !!

Went on sunday ordered surf and turf my husbands was okay, my steak was chewy and hard to cut left all but a couple of mouthfuls. Told the waitress when she asked if all was okay she responded by asking if we needed any thing more. The service was quick but but not a place I shall go again.

Is what is it! Cheap and cheerful. No complaints about the food or drink. Really good burger and the draught beer was actually better than the keg. Bizarre! If you're on a budget or want a no frills quick tea, it's the place to go locally. Thanks guys 🍻👍🏻

Friendly female staff who appeared to be running it single handed, only problem with the food was dried up chicken breast and very salty gammon ( obviously they can't tell its salty when they buy it) even the dog wouldn't eat the gammon... the service was good
