Woodside

I ordered a Mac & cheese with crumble from the menu, l could not believe the tiniest meal l have ever seen was served to me with a straight face. Even though it was a small serving dish it wasn't even full, it was an inch from the top. Its just pasta you can buy a 1kg bag for a £1. A 2 year old could polish it off and still have room. My friends were laughing at me and it wasn't even that good, cheese crated over pasta no creamy sauce. l left still hungry and will not be returning. Ripping of elderly is not my kind of place.

We had a family event here in the space at the back. It was decorated lovely and went well overall. Staff were grumpy during arrangement and the young lad behind the bar didn't seem to know what he was doing (he took three attempts to pour a pint) which didn't ruin the day but was spoken about and made me wonder to use it again or not.

Comfortable atmosphere. It's been a while since I've eaten out, at a Pub. The Food was exceptionally and surprisingly delicious! The quantities were just right so that I could fully enjoy the Dessert. I'm hoping to visit again before Christmas. To the person who felt the Mac Cheese was too small a portion... My Brother and myself are Pensioners. The Meal was just right for a Pensioner.

Served by Karen once more who could not do enough for us. Although we usually eat the evening menu which is great, more recently we have having lunch sometime in the afternoon. The senior lunch is an absolute bargain. Great food and great price. We are too full to try the 3 course for £7.99 and eat the 2 course for £6.99. We are always full to the brim and the service is second to none. First class.

Nice pub, not been in for years. Felt relaxed and friendly even though its now a GreenKing pub. Big carpark and nice outdoor area. Food was nice, presented well and staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Great little pub for food and drinks. Great sports coverage for those who enjoy watching football etc whist having a tipple.
Beer garden has been upgraded and features heated, covered seating with a large screen .

Held my mothers "wake" this afternoon, I must say the buffet they put on was a real credit to the chef and the Woodside team. Top marks for an excellent experience. Please tell me where you get your sausage rolls from or are they home made?

The food and the service was excellent really enjoyed it. Great polite staff thank you
