Couldn't ask for more. Very pleasant service (the girl serving was very sweet indeed) with an excellent menu followed up by great food at a great price. For once I was pleasantly surprised by the bill! Add to that great interior and ample parking. It looks like it's busy in the evenings (we went for lunch) and has some very good cocktail promotions at the moment. Shame it's not my local as we would go more often if it were...but definitely worth a detour.

We had a table booked which wasn’t ready upon arrival, in fact it was almost half an hour late (no one was sat at the table) Whilst we were waiting we decided to get a drink from the bar, it took the bartender over 15 minutes to serve 2 people in front of us…

Once we were seated it took half an hour for someone to come and see if we were ready to order, we placed our order and I was very specific that i wanted the larger steak (not sirloin) and for it to be cooked medium. Our starters arrived around 20-25 minutes after this (so 90 minutes after our booked time), and our mains arrived 45 minutes later (over 2 hours by this point). I hadn’t been given the correct steak and it was also under rare. It took 25 minutes for a check back, by which point my husband had finished eating. They re-cooked a new steak, the correct one, and it arrived 20 minutes later.

From our booking at 7:30, we spent over 3.5 hours here for a 2 course meal. The wait times are frankly horrible, multiple times when ordering a drink, it took over 20 minutes for the drink to come. We even had to ask them to turn the lights on, because we were sat in the dark.

I struggled to even give it 2 stars because of how terrible the experience was, but the food, when it did arrive, was amazing!

Overall probably won’t visit again in the near future, which is a shame because a lot of work has been put into an outdoor refurb since our last visit. However, it doesn’t have the service to match the food quality and aesthetic of the pub.

Went in for lunch with a work team for some 'fare-well' food and a light drink. Both were excellent but probably because it was busy, the 'QR' code ordering systems meant that it was some time to get our food (2 tables of 6). Someone going to the bar and ordering was quicker..! Certainly worth the wait, as the food quality was excellent. Would go again for the next leaving 'do'..!

We had the best time, excellent food and outstanding service. Manny was kind, attentive and a great server. Will definitely come back next time we can!

I have been going to rose 🌹 and crown 👑 for some time now and always we had a meal, it was all ways delicious 😋 good menu 😋 recomend and they do vegan dishes as well brilliant you must try 😋

Met a couple of friends for a chat and a meal. I was worried because we were running late. The staff were brilliant, very welcoming and attentive. The food was superb and good portions. We were so impressed that we have booked a table in January for the new year. Many thanks to Jason, although all the staff were very professional but I didn't get all their names. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

My first visit today, two of us arrived unbooked for lunch but this was absolutely no problem despite it being very busy. Fantastic welcoming staff, great food & friendly atmosphere, definitely coming back.

Service was a little slow (they lost the ticket for our desserts and had to be asked twice) but good quality food and portions. Children's play area outside which is very well maintained and clean. Toilets are good and clean.

Baby change facilities in ladies bathroom.

They encourage you to use the app but it's not really fit for purpose (e.g. you want to see all allergens on the menu but then it might not even be available on the actual menu itself. App requires a login/email address.
