The pub is really good for drinks, service, sky sports and music. It only needs redecorating inside as it looks a bit scruffy and the bar area needs updating, Plus they should not allow customers buying food from kebab shop to eat in pub and start throwing chips around, not pleasant for other customers! Ok it happened the once I was there but it may happen again. To my opinion the interior of the pub needs updating, but other than that, the landlord Mike, Wendy and co are very nice and friendly and it's a pleasure seeing them when I go for a drink!

Oh the Brewers! They have some great live bands on Saturday evenings, Sky Sports showing on two screens either side of the bar. A dart board, bar billiards, pool tables, a quiz machine AND they sell Twiglets!!! One of a few 'proper pubs' remaining in Burgess Hill as so many concentrate of their food offering.

I forgot to mention that they have free wifi via the cloud - very handy when you need the amusment of the internet to help pass the time when your friends start boring you with their drunken ramblings.

Rubbish selection of alcohol, lay out of the pub is terrible and music is a bit hit and miss plus I was sitting on a sofa and it was wet. And lack of bar staff. Terrible place!!

Probably...... the worst pub in the world.
Felt totally insulted to be sold multipack Budweiser as a special offer! When the bottle clearly states "multipack not to be sold separately" Plus...
I wouldn't let my dog sit on the sofas in garden here.
Will not return.

I don't know who is writing the reviews from 2 stars and above, as this isn't a public house that I would be prepared to visit anytime soon. Needs a revamp and to sell multipack beer just shows the lack of business ethics in my opinion.

Dropped in at a quiet time late afternoon to have a quick beer on one of the hottest days of the year. Got an equally warm welcome from the friendly landlord. Individual style and some old posters and photograph tell a little of the history of this interesting place. Given a complete makeover 1928 by Brighton architect Denman it had been a pub for long before. Pre Covid I understand that they've had music some nights and the landlord hopes as things open up more this can happen again. Also a few tables outside to enjoy your drinks
