Lovely sprawling, yet cosy pub. Food great, HUGE portions, if a bit expensive. We paid nearly £18 for 2 pints and two jacket potatoes.
Very large car park, so plenty of room to swing our 26 ton truck around before parking up.
Pics of the food are not the best due to being desperate to tuck in as it looked so good.

Cute little pub with great scenic views only a short walk away. Has a real old school feel to it and while i did not try the food myself it looked like huge portions and everyone eating looked really happy about it.

Drink prices were fine - 7 pounds for a vodka and coke and a fosters to give you an idea.

Nice local pub with friendly staff. Really recommend a walk around as they have a nice view at the Tilbury fort and Thames River. As you walk out from the pub there's staircase that allows you to go over the concrete wall where you can sit down and enjoy the views.

Pub with character, good selection of lagers ciders and a good bitter. Good size outdoor space.limited hot food and sandwiches served with salad. Prices good and represented value for money.

"The public house is rumoured to be visited by the ghost of a highwayman who haunts the rooms of children. "Swift Nick", also known as William John Nevison was from a good family in Yorkshire but chose a life of highway robbery. It's believed that he committed in Kent, used the Tilbury ferry before riding to Chelmsford and then on to York. He was hanged in 1686."

This is in Tilbury ...so was very wary . But also next to an iconic site in Tilbury Fort - Armada speech and much more . The staff were very friendly and the food was really quite nice with healthy portion sizes ....a real surprise..will return when in the area .
