The Talbot

A great little pub in the heart of West Sussex and on the London to Brighton route. Being local we visited a while ago but went back recently and we glad to see they had refitted the pub and extended the restaurant. The food is great and service really quick and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and great service. Food is delicious, filling and the menu provides pub classics as well as other different options which are worth trying.

Bit annoying walking past the toilets to get to the restaurant but my god does the food make up for it.
Limited menu but they have definitely gone for quality over quantity.
Fair prices, 8/10 customer service and will definitely be going again.

So lucky to have this as my local! Great service and great food, the team are always so welcoming. Pizzas are awesome too.

Food was lovely once we eventually got it. We arrived for lunch and ordered off the sandwich menu and waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. It wasn't particularly busy and we had to go ask where our lunch was. Once it did arrive, it was very good, just a shame we had to wait so long

Constantly the best pub in mid Sussex.....Great atmosphere.....roaring fire....pet friendly ,every single visit is like coming home......love it.

Lovely dining experience, very attentive staff, delicious food (we had a 'normal' burger, a vegan burger to die for and the chocolate tart... Out of this world), all around good vibes. And they have excellent takeaway pizza!
