Lovely Wetherspoons pub! Like a proper local! Staff and customers really friendly. I popped in after some shopping for a couple??? Ended up staying for food and more gorgeous beer! As per usual, lots of guest ales! All flippin' gorgeous 😍

Service in this place is truly terrible. Every single member of staff has a chip on their shoulder. More interested in their phones and gossiping with their work colleagues, rather than serve the queues of customers.
Agreed with previous reviews, the gents toilets are disgusting.

All the staff members have an attitude issue. If they are not arguing amongst themselves they are arguing with customers. One member of staff in particular is a real bully. I think he is manager or someone with authority. A large fella.Tables are not cleared regularly. Just look like they all hate working there. Need to really improve the customer experience.

Decent lively 'spoons this one.

Good swift service from welcoming friendly staff. Nice and clean with very good table clearing.

Lovely and warm in there too. Very welcome on a cold January afternoon

Called in for a couple of drinks on a hot day, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. An eclectic mix of clientele, but all very friendly. Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, and one I'd like to go back to. Unfortunately, the Miller's Well is on the list to be sold by Wetherspoon as of writing this. Hoping another chain will take it on. It would be a shame for the area to lose a good watering hole.

🚇 East Ham
🍺 £2.39 Carlsberg
❤️ An East Ham Wetherspoons due for closure.
.
The Millers Well is located on busy Barking Road in the heart of East Ham, this pub sits opposite the architecturally stunning Newham College. The nearest tube is East Ham which is a ten minute walk away.
.
This pub came to life when the building was converted to a Wetherspoons back in 1993.
.
The decor here is unmistakably Wetherspoons. The carpet, the bar the fixtures and fittings are all familiar to many of us who have frequented a Tim Martin boozer. One big bonus here is the toilet location, it is less than a mile cab ride away. One thing Wetherspoons do really well is capture moments in history from the local area and community, its well worth checking out the walls here which feature war heroes from the local area.
.
The beer choice was simple but extensive and included six cask options. I ordered a pint of Carlsberg which was a decent pint and as cheap as chips at £2.39. The food menu is also extensive if not Michelin starred, Fish & Chips costs £8.60.
.
The atmosphere was buzzing on this Friday afternoon with the pub packed with locals. There is a lot of solidarity here with lots of nods, winks, hugs and handshakes as people crossed paths from across the manor. As with a lot of Spoons, there were many solo drinkers from all walks of life, some were reading the paper, others gorking at their phones and others reflecting and contemplating life.
.
The Millers Well is due to close soon, Wetherspoons has said it’s a “business decision” to close the pub along with 15 other pubs across London including one of my favourites, The Coronet in Holloway.
.
So what becomes of the old boy who can only afford to drink here, or the low income earners who come here to break the monotony? As much as the surrounding pubs are lovely and fighting their fight, I feel that some punters can not afford to grace these establishments. Hopefully a pubco like @craftunionpubs step in to take over this pub, they would be perfect. Let’s pray that this community pub has a future. 🙏🏻🍻

Nice small breakfast. Service quick . No complaints. But no proper Smirnoff vodka, choose the raspberries flavour but left half of it
Shame not to stock a staple...

I did not find their staff friendly. More of these pubs should be closed down.
And bring back a More community base public house these pubs need better staff training across Newham
