Lovely and clean surroundings. Food excellent. We were looked after by Daniel, his manner and attitude was totally professional.
Down side was there people smoking at the front door, we had to wait until they decided to move, we had to walk through a thick haze of smoke.

Very good quality food and equally reasonable prices. Nice surroundings and friendly efficient staff. I can't see a negative here.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I'm not one to leave a review but this one is needed!
I went in this evening 17/12 with my family (wife & 2 children), first time being here after talking about going for such a long time we walked in, nobody to greet you we walked through the restaurant seeting and seen a young waitress and asked where we could sit, she said anywhere so that we did.
The table we sat at had crackers which I wouldn't let my children pull just incase it wasn't allowed. I ordered my meal at the bar asking if they was OK to pull them and was told its fine. We was served our starter which was lovely, then came the mains. Just started to eat when the manager came over quite abrupt and rude leaning on my 8 year old daughters chair and said, I'm going to have to ask you to move! I'm sure could imagine my reaction I was not happy!! Reason for this is apparently our table was reserved for a party of 20 plus people. There was no reserved sign on the table and we was told its fine to sit there. Luckily one of the lady's from the party over heard this as did half the room may I add there was no discreetness to this conversation, she said she was happy for us to stay where we was... the manager walked off no apology nothing! The poor family who was here for the party ended up pulling tables around by themselves to try arrange seating.
This is quite literally the worst restaurant experience I have ever had my wife was so embarrassed and just wanted to leave to which we pretty much did. Disgraceful service un professional we will never return. No offer of a discount nor a real apology with knowing we didn't even Finnish the meal properly. Shocking

Visited tonight for my dad's 70th birthday, 5 of us, we all had lovely meals, 2 of us had steak, lovely and tender. My dad had a mixed grill, again lovely. Mum had cheese and broccoli bake and my daughter had macaroni cheese, all cooked lovely. Had to reserve a table as very busy, but did get seated earlier, although sat and had drinks in the bar area while waiting anyway. Toilets need a bit of a refurb and there was some building work going on at the back of the building but couldn't fault the food and can't wait to go again.

Great food. Service is relatively fast, and staff are pleasant. A little pricey for a family of 4 but I think that's just due to the general cost of living.

Very nice pub and good food. On first impression it looks a little drab outside but when you get inside it's a warm cosy place and it's quite big. The food is cheap and better than expected given the price. Will definitely eat here again.
